Get the full LED headlight upgrade working as intended
This kit is for 2018–2024 XV70 Camry LE, SE and TRD vehicles receiving compatible OEM-style XSE or XLE full LED headlights with the gray 8-pin connector. It bridges the connection between the vehicle's wiring and the replacement headlights.
Version 2 also supplies the XSE/XLE headlight's LED DRL array through a dedicated fused power tap. That matters because LE/SE/TRD factory daytime-running-light operation uses the low-beam projector. A connector adapter and the correct DRL power arrangement are both part of this conversion.
The headlights themselves are sold separately. Check the connector and headlight type before ordering; “fits Camry” is not enough to identify every aftermarket housing.
Heat shielding where the power wire crosses the engine bay
Our DRL power wire includes a high-temperature protective cover for the route near the radiator. That's a feature worth checking when you compare conversion harnesses. The wire spends its working life in an engine bay, so its protection and routing matter after the installation photos are taken.
We use heat shielding as an added layer of protection. It does not replace correct installation: follow the manual and secure the lead away from hot surfaces, sharp edges, radiator fans and other moving parts. Keep some slack at the connectors so the wiring isn't pulled tight.
When comparing another kit, ask specifically about the shielding supplied on the DRL power lead. A photo of a wrapped connector or a general “plug and play” description doesn't answer that question.
Two fuses already included
Our Add-a-Fuse DRL power lead arrives with two fuses pre-installed. The installation manual directs you to remove the original fuse from the specified position, install the supplied tap and keep the original fuse as a spare.
That means you don't have to transfer the factory fuse into an empty position on our tap or stop the installation to find the second fuse. The pieces are supplied together for the documented installation. Follow the manual's fuse location and rating rather than choosing an available slot at random.

No cutting, no splicing, 100% reversible
The adapters connect inline between the vehicle wiring and compatible headlights. You don't cut the factory harness to make the conversion. If you later return to the original lights, remove the adapters and power tap and restore the original connections and fuse arrangement according to the installation instructions.
That is useful whether you're keeping the Camry for years or eventually returning it to stock. A clean conversion should leave you that option.

Two settings to check after installation
Use the Camry Version 2 installation manual (PDF) for the complete wiring procedure. Set the headlight switch to AUTO and turn off the factory low-beam DRL function in the LE/SE/TRD vehicle settings as directed. The dedicated feed then powers the XSE/XLE LED DRL array.
Before final reassembly, check the DRLs, low beams, high beams, parking lights and turn signals. Check headlight alignment and applicable road-use requirements for the headlights you selected. The adapter handles the electrical conversion; installing and aiming the headlight housings is still part of the job.
