A better drive isn't always about more horsepower. Sometimes it's hearing your favorite song clearly, adding the bass your factory system is missing, or bringing music along on a weekend trail ride.

We now carry DS18 and BOSS Audio Systems in our Car Audio lineup. Whether you're planning a simple daily-driver upgrade or a larger system, we want to help you choose parts that make sense together.

Build the sound you actually want.

Start with your vehicle, your listening goals and your budget. The right first upgrade is different for everyone.

Meet DS18

DS18's range covers speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers and installation accessories. Its speaker options include coaxial and component designs as well as pro-style loudspeakers, giving you several ways to approach a build.

That variety makes it worth deciding what you want first: a straightforward speaker upgrade, stronger bass, or a system built around separate amplifiers and drivers. A pro-style speaker isn't automatically a direct replacement for a factory door speaker.

Meet BOSS Audio Systems

Our BOSS Audio Systems selection focuses on motorcycle, ATV and UTV audio, marine receivers and installation gear. It gives you options for taking your music beyond the daily commute.

Check the exact model for mounting dimensions, power requirements and Bluetooth or other source connections. For an open vehicle or boat, confirm that the equipment is rated for the conditions where you plan to use it.

Where should your first audio upgrade start?

  • You want music on a trail ride: start with a system that fits your vehicle, its mounting points and its electrical supply. Check its weather rating and source connections.
  • You want clearer vocals: review the speakers, their placement and the power available to drive them.
  • You want more bass: plan the subwoofer, enclosure and amplifier together, including how much space you can give up.

You can build in stages. We'd rather help you plan the next step than have you buy a part that needs replacing when the rest of the system changes.

Our buying tip: compare the useful numbers.

Use RMS power ratings at the intended impedance when matching an amplifier with speakers or a subwoofer. A large peak-watt number alone doesn't tell you whether the combination is appropriate. Check the model manuals and wiring requirements before ordering.

Check the fit before you order

Speaker diameter is only the starting point. Check mounting depth, cutout dimensions and any brackets or adapters needed. For a subwoofer, check available space and the manufacturer's enclosure requirements. For a receiver, check dash fit and the interfaces needed to retain factory features.

Keep room in the budget for the installation, wiring and any required adapters. If you're unsure about the electrical work, include a qualified installer in the plan.
