Quantum uses an integrated filter-to-housing design that attaches both components with four captive screws for a positive surface area seal and quick and easy install. Quantum's roto-molded housing features a five-rib industrial grade look for long lasting durability and aFe quality recognition. This system is equipped with our oil-free, 360-degree radial flow air filter with three layers of progressive synthetic media, providing optimum flow, protection and cleaning convenience. Specifically designed for the Quantum Series intake systems, the air filter features an injection molded base and top for lighter weight and rigidity. Captive screws are used to eliminate lost hardware and to securely fasten to the housing. The base includes a built-in, 3-angle velocity stack for smooth, even airflow. Quantum uses a dyno tuned, computer-designed intake tube to achieve optimum air flow. It's made from high impact, XLPE material for heat soak resistance and durability while maintaining a perfect fit. The included air scoop is designed to capture the coolest, freshest air from the top of the front grille to ensure increased air velocity into your Quantum air intake system for maximum performance and quicker throttle response. The Quantum Intake System includes silicone bellows couplings to absorb excessive engine movement and provide flexibility for a secure and easy install. Quantum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation. This is a direct fit intake system that utilizes factory mounting points and requires no cutting or modifications. All clamps, couplings and hardware are included for a hassle-free installation.
