New lines / Car Care

You don't need a garage full of bottles to take good care of your vehicle. You need the right products for the job, clean tools and a routine you can stick with.

We now carry Chemical Guys and Griot's Garage in our Car Care lineup. These brands give us more ways to help you look after your daily driver, weekend project or freshly finished build—from the wash bucket to the final wipe-down.

Wash it well. Dry it carefully. Keep it looking good.

Start with the basics, then add products for the surfaces and problems you're actually working on.

Wash / Interior / Detailing tools

Meet Chemical Guys

Chemical Guys offers a broad range of exterior and interior care products, microfiber towels, wash mitts, tools and kits. Its how-to resources can also help you understand where each product fits into a routine.

Our advice is to choose by task: what needs cleaning, what finish you're working on and how you plan to maintain it. A useful starter selection beats buying several products that all do the same job.

Wash / Detail / Paint care

Meet Griot's Garage

Griot's Garage covers washing and drying, detail sprays, wheel and tire care, glass, interiors and paint care. It's a range that lets you start with regular maintenance and explore more involved detailing as your needs grow.

For most owners, a good first step is a repeatable wash-and-dry routine. Paint correction and specialized protection can come later, once you've identified a specific need.

A simple routine to start with

  1. Start with a cool vehicle in the shade. Pre-rinse loose dirt, and avoid letting wash solution dry on the paint.
  2. Keep dirty rinse water separate. Use one bucket for properly diluted car-wash soap and another to rinse your mitt. Wash from the roof down, leaving the dirtiest lower panels for last.
  3. Treat wheels as a separate job. Work on one cool wheel at a time. Choose a cleaner suitable for its finish and follow the directions for application, agitation and rinsing.
  4. Finish with clean drying tools. Use a clean towel intended for automotive drying. Keep wheel-cleaning tools and dirty towels away from the paint.

Our buying tip: match the product to the surface.

Paint, matte finishes, wraps, leather, interior screens and different wheel finishes don't all need the same treatment. Check the label for the intended surface, dilution and application method. More product isn't automatically better.

Build a kit you'll actually use

Start with a suitable car-wash soap, a clean wash mitt, rinse buckets and a drying towel. Add wheel, glass or interior products around what your vehicle needs. If you already have a coating or another protective finish, check the care instructions before choosing your next cleaner.

Check the pack quantity before ordering. Some of our car-care listings are sold by the case. Read the product title and description so you know the bottle size and how many units are included.

You don't have to tackle every detailing job on the first weekend. A manageable routine makes it easier to keep up with the vehicle between bigger cleanups.
